You Have Received The Gospel Of Righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV)

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

E. W Kenyon defined the righteousness we have received from God as an ability that grants a man or woman the right to stand in the presence of God, without a sense of inferiority, condemnation or guilt. It grants a man the ability to perform the duties of God on this Earth, it makes you a bonafide ambassador of heaven.

The understanding of this type of righteousness from God is a very crucial part of your Christian life. Without this understanding, you will never experience the full life in Christ.

Righteousness is the nature of God that is imparted in your human spirit when you’re born again; it’s a gift from God.

Romans 5:17 (KJV)

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

According to the gospel of righteousness, a Christian is not someone who doesn’t do wrong. He is one whose wrongs have been charged to the account of Jesus. He walks free like someone who never did something wrong. Isn’t this good news? It means you can live without a sense of condemnation (Romans 8:1-2).

Righteousness gives you the rightness of God and the ability to live rightly in the sight of God. As long as you believe in Jesus, the righteousness of God has come to you as a gift (Romans 3:20-22).

All you have to do is to accept it; it would produce in you what it talks about. If right now you are troubled because you still do wrong things, or you are sick in your body, or you have family troubles or financial troubles, not to worry! The righteousness you’ve received has the power to produce in you the rightness of God, such that you will begin to see these situations getting corrected in your life by the power of the gospel of righteousness (Romans 1:16).
