Colossians 3:3-4 (KJV)
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
The Bible says in 1 John 5:11-13 that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His son…’he that has the son has life… In fact, one of the benefits of eternal life is that Christ has become our life. Do you know the significance of that? This scripture is showing you that the life of God is travelling through your veins. Isn’t that wonderful!
You’ve received a life superior to that of an ordinary man the moment you were born again. This is the incorruptible life of the new creation that 2 Corinthians 5:17 talked about. I love the message translation’s rendering of 1 Peter 1:23 which says,
“Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God’s living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God Himself!”
The Word of God can’t perish; it is ordained to abide forever. This is the same life running through your veins. I’m not making this up; it’s right there in the Word of God!
John 15:5 (KJV)
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
The apostle John wrote, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…” not tomorrow or in the future. He said NOW!!! You’re already a partaker of the divine nature; you’re a partaker of that life which God has. Do you know this is the answer to your health problems? It’s the solution to any challenge you may be facing with your health today. Remember, the Word that gave you life says, “You’re the healed of God”. The question is, whose report will you believe? If you believe that Christ is your life, you wouldn’t give in to any report that is contrary to God’s Word. Don’t be a coward and give in to anything, eternal life is at work in you 24 hours a day.
